Samsung will subsidize the cost of recycling certain electronic items in Pennsylvania in response to the signing of the Covered Device Recycling Act 108 of 2010. this act bans electronic items from entering Pennsylvania landfills and enforces electronics manufacturers to take responsibility for the entire life cycle of their products.“We are excited to aid Pennsylvania in their initiative to reduce the immense electronic waste stream through the Covered Device Recycling Act,” says Ned Eldridge, president, eLoop llc.  “With electronics consistently being replaced, the constant stream of e-waste needs to be recycled in an environmentally safe manner.
